Neck Pain Relief
You don’t have to live with neck pain. Neck pain can be relieved with the proper diagnosis of your discomfort. Once we pinpoint the cause and the extent of your injury, we can set up a personalized recovery program to help you feel better.
How Long Will It Take to Recover?
The amount of time for a full recovery depends on the person and the injury itself. By rigorously following the program that has been set up for you, you will be able to see positive results in a short period of time. The two main factors are the seriousness of the injury and the work put into the physiotherapy program.
Whiplash Treatment
Whiplash is a sudden extension and flexion of the neck also known as CAD, a cervical acceleration-deceleration injury. The most common occurrences of whiplash are caused in motor vehicle accidents involving side and rear-end collisions.

How We Can Help
Our initial goal is to get you stabilized by working to relieve your pain and discomfort. Next, we focus on your mobility, increasing neck movement and strength. Whiplash treatments are personalized to each person, since although the causes of whiplash may be common, the resulting injury can manifest itself in different ways. Our physiotherapists will examine your injuries and work out a recovery plan that meets your particular needs.
How Long Does It Take to Recover from Whiplash?
The seriousness and the extent of the injuries will dictate how long recovery will take. Three to six weeks of recovery time is not uncommon. If you have a whiplash injury and seek a non-surgical solution, call us here at Ottawa-Carleton Physiotherapy. We can help!
